{"id":10853,"date":"2022-12-28T00:56:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-27T21:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kyiv.kenk.com.ua\/?p=10853"},"modified":"2022-12-28T00:56:00","modified_gmt":"2022-12-27T21:56:00","slug":"signs-of-recovery-from-the-coronavirus-crisis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kyiv.kenk.com.ua\/en\/signs-of-recovery-from-the-coronavirus-crisis\/","title":{"rendered":"Signs of an exit from the coronavirus crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text woodmart_inline=&#8221;no&#8221; text_larger=&#8221;no&#8221;]Having received open data on the state of the energy system for the first five months of the current year, we can draw conclusions about the gradual recovery of the economic situation:<br \/>\nIncrease in production by 6%<br \/>\nElectricity production in the unified energy system (UES) of Ukraine in January-May 2021 increased by 6% (by 3 billion 735.2 million kWh) compared to the same period in 2020 &#8211; to 66 billion 305.2 million kWh hours, according to data from the Ministry of Energy.<br \/>\nAccording to the calculations of the Interfax-Ukraine agency, nuclear power plants (NPPs) increased their electricity production by 4.2% in five months &#8211; up to 35 billion 800.9 million kWh.<br \/>\nThermal power plants (TPP), as well as thermal power plants (TPP) and cogeneration plants (CHP) increased production by 0.6% &#8211; up to 20 billion 412.2 million kWh. Including, TPP generation companies increased production by 5.3% &#8211; to 15.118 billion kWh, while CHP and KU &#8211; decreased by 10.9%, to 5 billion 294.2 million kWh.<br \/>\nHydro- and hydro-accumulating power plants (HaPP and HAES) increased production by 72.4% to 4 billion 909.4 million kWh, while block stations decreased by 9.4% to 725.8 million kWh.<br \/>\nProduction of electricity from non-traditional sources (WPP, SPP, biomass) increased by 4.3% &#8211; up to 4 billion 456.9 million kWh.<br \/>\nIncrease in consumption by 6.7%<br \/>\nElectricity consumption in Ukraine in January-May 2021, taking into account technological losses in networks, increased by 6.7% (by 4 billion 162.8 million kWh) compared to the same period in 2020 &#8211; to 65 billion 912.8 million kWh, according to data from the Ministry of Energy.<br \/>\nAccording to the calculations of the agency &#8220;Interfax-Ukraine&#8221;, without taking into account technological losses, electricity consumption increased by 8.2% (by 4 billion 73.1 million kWh) during the specified period &#8211; to 53 billion 760.5 million kWh.<br \/>\nThe country&#8217;s industry, excluding technological losses, increased electricity consumption by 7.3% &#8211; up to 21 billion 708.8 million kWh.
