On the morning of July 5, Polish PSE activated emergency assistance from the United Energy System (UES) of Ukraine, NPC “Ukrenergo” reported.
According to the Ukrainian operator, the provision of emergency assistance continued until July 8. Its total value was 8.6 million kWh.
As reported, the conclusion of agreements on emergency mutual assistance between adjacent TSOs is provided for by the general rules of ENTSO-E.
“Ukrenergo” and Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE) concluded an agreement on the supply of electricity as part of emergency mutual assistance in August 2019.
Emergency supplies in January-June 2021 from Ukraine to Belarus amounted to 0.4 million kWh, in Ukraine from Slovakia – 0.2 million kWh, from Belarus – 9.7 million kWh,
In 2020, emergency deliveries from Ukraine to Hungary amounted to 1.1 million kWh.
